On my sixteenth birthday, my mom gave me her old Pentax Spotmatic and insisted I learn how to shoot manually. I've been shooting ever since. I enjoy both analog and digital photography. While I love compositing an interesting scene in Photoshop, I find it very exciting to process my own film and make prints in the darkroom. I consider myself to be a fine art and commercial photographer and find inspiration in many different places. My body of work consists mostly of portraits, food and product photography. But I also love what I can do with my little Holga. My goal is to make images that provoke the viewer to feel something. Whether it's the excitement of captured motion, the drama and sensuality of textures or the desire to taste a mouth-watering plate of food, I want the audience to look at my photograph and feel it in their gut.
